My belated condolences to the Badley family. After some time trying to discover my Saskatchewan relatives, I'm so sorry to discover that this lovely lady has passed away. At the age of 81 myself, I recently determined to try to explore my family roots beginning with my grandparents Hugh and Lillian Gray of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan who had eight children (not in the order of age) - Clarence, Margaret, Lorraine, William (my dad), Doris, Rex, Asa, and Larry. Before my family was transferred to Calgary, then Vancouver, we enjoyed many happy times with the grandparents, our aunts and uncles and cousins but somehow over the years we lost touch with our prairie relatives. I came across this obituary as I tried to locate descendants of Hugh and Lillian Gray and am saddened that I probably could have connected with Shirley if I had made the effort several years ago. Warm regards to all members of the Gray family. Alyce (Gray) Pavelich, Vancouver, BC

Our deepest condolences to Kelly, Mark, and Byron and families on the passing of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
You boys truly were her pride and joy when you were growing up. When I last saw her, she spoke proudly of you and your families.
We remember her friendliness and her co-hosting of the after the Christmas Concert parties with your father in their home. I also remember her willingness to help out whenever her nursing or other assistance was needed at the school.
May your happy memories of times spent with your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother give you comfort in the days and months ahead.
