Mel I know this has been an interesting journey for you. Not always easy. But always a story to come out of it. You had a positive impact on myself and my boys. While I was stationed in and out of Lumsden we shared coffee time over many occasions. You will be missed by the community and so many others that you have engaged with over the years.
You are without pain now and I hope that you can look down and see how much love and respect so many people have for you.

My heartfelt condolences to all of Mel’s family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mel was a part of our Manor family for the last 14 years and I will miss him. He had become a community fixture, with participation in the Monarch hockey team and an outstanding ticket seller for the Lumsden Duck Derby. He was very well known in our community and will be missed by many.
