Obituary of Grant Norman Wilson

Please share a memory of Grant to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Grant Wilson passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the age of 64, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, always ready to lend a helping hand. Grant’s kindness and sense of humor left those around him with cherished memories.

Grant worked as a mechanic with the Regina Police Service for 25 years, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed the next 20 years landscaping with his brothers, even during his battle. In his spare time, Grant enjoyed watching football, playing card games, maintaining a beautiful yard, and taking trips to Disneyland with his family. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Lyndsie; siblings Wayne, Jeff (Lynette), and Judy (Brian); close cousin Brian Anstice (Darlene); as well as numerous other family members and friends. Grant was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Norman Wilson; and in-laws, Jo and Ron Leib. Family would like to thank the amazing staff at Allan Blair, Palliative HomeCare and Unit 5D at the Pasqua Hospital for their care. At Grant’s request, no funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Allen Blair Cancer Clinic in Grant’s memory.
