Dear Gloria and Ellen, we are so sorry for your loss. Ron was taken away from us to us far too soon.
In classic Canadian meaning of the word, Ron was a "Beauty". He loved the outdoors and that showed in all he did. There was never a sun that was too hot that he needed shade. No day too cold that he could not hunt in.
I remember the little things that I learned from Ron out at the cottage. How to float out a boat track on an inner tube. How to quietly "putt putt" in the dark of night. How to stay up till 4 in the morning! Mind you, I never did learn how to show zero ill effects the next day like Ron could.
We had so many laughs and good times over the years. At the cottage, Family Christmases, fishing, golfing, hunting, concert going. Habs versus Leafs.
Ron, you will be missed, but never forgotten. I have included a few great pictures over the last several years.

We are so sorry for your loss.
Nick and I, Jason and Ryan have many fond memories of summers at Pasqua Lake...Ron skiing by on one ski to spray the boys in the afternoon and the giant bonfires in the evening. When they came to Calgary we would enjoy the afternoons in the pool and the hot tub at night. He was a much-loved brother and uncle. Like Nick always says, "Ron packed more into his one lifetime than many of us could have in two lifetimes." He was a rascal by definition yet kind and generous.
In one of our gardens is a fountain in memory of Mom and Dad and my good friend Cliff. Beside the fountain, we will plant a rose bush in memory of Ron.

So many good memories of Ronnie, Dave & Ron (Senior) coming down to Assiniboia to hunt with Ed. Always a fun time. My deepest sympathy to all of Ronnie’s Family. Rest in Peace Ronnie
