Obituary of Jack Hansinger

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jack Hansinger on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. He will be fondly remembered by his wife Sonia; daughter Shantel (partner Chris and their children Ari, Atley, Ainslyn); daughter Shelsey; son Steven (partner Camille); and sister-in-law Sheri; as well as numerous other family and friends. Jack was born and raised in Regina, SK, where he met his childhood and lifelong friends Mike, Gary, and Bill. He was described as a witty and quick minded child. From a young age, Jack was family oriented who helped his mother and family, which transpired to his love of others. He welcomed anyone from anywhere as they are in his life and his infamous “Jack Shack”. Many of us who’ve been in the Shack will remember the jokes and anecdotes that Jack would share. Jack was also deeply rooted in his faith which is what has helped him persevere and provide counselling throughout his life. He always had a way to make others feel heard, seen, and cared for. Jack’s legacy will not only be carried on by his children and grandchildren; but those whose lives his soul has touched. A Private Graveside for the family will be held.
