Since I am the first to write on here I'd like to say I miss my dad dearly and miss all his advice and his stories he told me about his past. I will always cherish his memories jn my heart forever and wish cancer never killed him. I moved home when we found out he had cancer and im glad I got to spend the last 2 years with him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him especially me his youngest daughter. Daddies lil girl forever.
Sonia and family, your hearts must be breaking. We are so very sorry to hear that Jack passed away. He was all about his family; we hope your many wonderful memories bring you comfort.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all on the passing of Jack. Jack was a good childhood / neighbour friend. We had many happy days on Mc Ara St playing sports in the alley and in later years playing cards in various places, such as the trailer / garage / Cleaners partying with the GANG. I never made it to the "Jack Shack" but I am sure the party tradition CARRIED ON as usual with many of Jack's wise cracks / humour livening up the party. Jack will be missed, RIP buddy. Gone to soon. May the Lord look favourably upon him at their card table eh!

I met Jack quite by chance in the summer of 1999.
He promptly invited my to drop by; I subsequently met his wonderful family and began a friendship that lasted for many years.
Jack was both a mentor and a good friend to me. I spent hours in the "Jack Shack", even sleeping in it one evening (not recommended).
I witnessed Jack dispensing wise advice; many people came to him when they had questions or situations that they themselves had no answers to.
He was a wonderful human being and will be greatly missed.
My deepest sympathy to you Sonia and your family.
Jack will be truly missed. The grieving journey is a very difficult one. Focus on the happy times but allow yourself to cry. Shedding tears is therapeutic. May God send angels to comfort you. Hugs my friend. I am here for you if you ever need a shoulder to cry on. Hugs
