Dear family , We knew mike and his beautiful family from sylvan lake Alberta . We spent so many moments with them all and will cherish each memory with all our hearts. This message is from Brenda Edwards, former teacher and Vice Principal of White City School..many years ago. I had the pleasure of not only teaching Michael but some of his siblings as well. His parents, Mike and Doreen, were shining pillars of what great parents do to raise great kids. Michael was just one of those “ great kids” as teachers say. Full of life, energy, an inquiring spirit and engaged in life. To hear of Michael’s passing is truly a sad moment …God Bless his family and friends and may his wonderful kind spirit live on through those that loved and adored him.
Oh Mike .... I will forever miss you and the spirit that you brought to HQ. For a man that was larger than life, you sure knew how to sneak around and scare all of us at the office when we weren't expecting you there. Rest easy.
