Dear Joan, Sandra, Stephen and family,
I remember growing up in Hillsdale, Joan, and visiting you and Ron with two sweet little babies while the dads enjoyed each other's company, even outside work, and the moms enjoyed just being out with other adults! Even earlier memories include being jealous because my sister Marilyn Dauk was your flower girl on your wedding and you all looked so beautiful! Plus visiting Ron's parents at their cottage. If your children continue the Meyer hospitality, they have a good legacy to pass along in remembrance of their dad and grandparents' good lives. God wrap you all in arms of love and comfort during this time of "goodbye until we meet again."

Hello. So sorry to hear about Ron's death, he was such a lovely guy. Actually I have been thinking about your family the last few weeks, I should have followed up and called you, Joan. To all of you, we send warm regards and condolences. I am sure you will have many happy memories of this even-tempered, family-loving man! Ron reminded me so much of his dad, Tony. I won't be able to attend the funeral on Tuesday because of an appointment with a specialist, but do know that I will be thinking of you. Will be in touch later. Love, your cousin Kathy Arnusch

Dear Joan, Sandra and Stephen,
With great sadness I see the loss of our dear friend Ron - your great husband and father, one of my all time best friends. Sorry Mary and I won’t be able to come to the funeral because I broke my hip on May 13 and I am recovering at Pioneer Village. Our prayers will be with you, for you and your family next Tuesday at the funeral. Wishing you all of God’s blessings. Ron was the greatest friend I could have ever asked for. He was just so kind and thoughtful. He was a great fellow worker. I never had any problems with him. I enjoyed the 30 odd years that I worked with him. That was just great. Maybe i will see you later when I can get around again.
With love and prayers from Mary and Joe Dauk
I am so sorry for your loss Joan, Sandra, Stephen and family. I remember Ron working with dad at Sask Power. I worked there one summer in the cafeteria and they would come in for lunch - Ron was always so friendly and cheery with a beautiful heart warming smile. I was so sorry to bring the news of his passing to dad today. He was so very sad to hear that his good friend had passed. He is remembered with the fondest of memories. May your good memories give you comfort in your loss. Lana (Dauk) Schuster
