From the first time I met Joan, she greeted me as though we had known each other forever…..she had the most amazingly sparkling personality….
Little did I know, that there would be many connections……through my dear friends, Deb and Pam (née Morgan); through Leigh working as a student at Safeway; and through Doug and Danny’s involvement in the same sports we were involved with, plus the Regina Beach connection.
She leaves a legacy of people who love her, because of the special person that she was and how she made others feel….
….and a wonderful example for all of us to follow.

Warren and family I’m truly saddened to hear of Joan’s passing. As a former neighbour and also seeing her regularly at her dental appointments we always had a good chat and got caught up. She was a lively person and a lovely dresser. It was a pleasure to have known her.
Dear Warren; I am so deeply saddened to hear of Joanie's passing. We loved our visits together in Hawaii. (First time we connected with you over there, you were hustling to catch the bus after a successful day of shopping, she had a suitcase full!)
She will be so missed, but hope all your wonderful memories will always keep her close.
