Arnold and I send our sincere condolence to you Marlene, Dean (Michelle) and Charlene (Keith) and the many other members of the family. We realize Don is in a much better place now but we will sure miss him. When I opened FaceBook each day there would always be a message from him about something that was interesting to read. He will be in our hearts forever and our thoughts will bring up many, many memories of when all the Golsmith family were together.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to Marlene and family. I met Don playing poker online. We played for many an hour and I always enjoyed his chatting and sense of humour. Don would let you know on facebook how he felt about how the world went around. I got to meet Don and Marlene and we went to a Rider game together. Don came up to Candle lake fishing with another friend Shawn from Texas pokerstars and we had a great time. Don will be missed by his poker playing friends. Rest in peace buddy. Dale Tamke
Uncle Donny will be missed greatly. He was fierce in his political standing and wasn’t afraid to say so. I will greatly miss his sense of humor on Facebook. I have wonderful memories of his refurbished school bus. Rest in peace and breathe freely Uncle Donny.

I will truly miss his daily messages about political turmoil and our shared view on pandemics and how it effects us and the world. I’m thankful we visited him and Marlene a few days before he was hospitalized, as that will be the memory I will keep of him. Take care or each other and hold each other just a tiny bit closer.
