To the family of Anne Klinger
Though it has been many years, since we first met, my friend and classmate used to play at each others homes, this dear sweet gentle lady made me feel like part of the family from the get go. We kept in touch over the years, when each of my dear parents passed she reached out as she did. Her baked goods, her infectious laughter, brightened the spirit of those present, be it close or far. May the many wonderful memories comfort each of you.

I have so many good memories about times with Aunt Anne that it would be difficult to even list them. Perhaps, though, my favorite memories are of times spent at her home during holidays, especially the Christmas season. She would preside over the crowd of gathered relatives with warmth and humour and somehow always managed to include everyone in the festivities. With the help of Uncle John and their kids, we were offered what seemed to be an endless supply of tempting food and drinks. I cannot imagine how she managed it all while remaining genuinely pleased with the merry throng that had taken over her home. She was a kind and generous woman who valued her extended family, even if her sharp sense of humour sometimes left them smarting. We are lucky to have had her in our lives, and better for it.

I am unable to attend the funeral, however do wish to extend my sympathies to all of Anne and John's children - my cousins - and their families. Anne was the last among her siblings to pass, and I remember her as a vibrant and welcoming woman.
Our deepest sympathies on the passing of your Mom and Grandma and our dear aunt. Anne was so young at heart and we hold so many good memories of her growing up and the visits to Regina and Ottawa that always included catching up on travel adventures and family life. Perhaps the most memorable was the joining up for the wonderful ski trip at Panorama.
