Dwaine was a Great Guy. I played hockey with and against Dwaine, worked with Dwaine and we became good friends. You couldn’t ask for a better friend or person. We had so much in common and though we didn’t see each other often the past while we communicated through messages and FB. Dwaine and I could talk for hours because we both had the same interests in music, cars, and life in general. Today Dwaine popped up in my memories on FB and I thought we haven’t talked in a while and then I seen this sad news. I’m still in shock. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of Dwaine’s family. He really loved his family and was an awesome friend. He fought long and hard and was a brave man. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Saddened to read this news. Thoughts and prayers to Cathy, Chase, Nicole, Darren and families. Dwaine was my best friend from kindergarten to grade five until my family moved to Swift Current. Spent alot of time at Andy and Roses Lorne st home and hold fond memories of peanut butter and syrup sandwiches. We kept in touch off and on until our twenties but I always thought of him April 14. I always meant to call him one day and catch up but alas I will regret that I didn’t. Rest In Peace Dwaine, Love and miss you brother, see you on the other side. Curtis Klein- Calgary, AB

My deepest condolences to Cathie and family. I’ve know Dwayne for many years in the trucking industry and knew his wonderful parents Andy & Rose. I also worked with his brother Darren and all I can say is that Dwayne was a compassionate loving person as were his parents and as is Darren. May the Good Lord comfort all of you at this time of loneliness & sadness.

Condolences and prayers to all of Dwaine's family. I used to see Dwaine when he delivered to my workplace back in the days of Atomic Transport and trucking. He always had a smile on his face and always took time to "check in" and make sure I was well and to share some laughs and stories. So very sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace Dwaine. Thanks for all of the great memories.
