Our sympathy to all the family. We have treasured George’s friendship over the years. We have also appreciated his love and support od Scottish country dancing, particularly his support of teacher training and development. George drove many miles with Olive helping new groups get started and established, and simply attending dance events.

My sincere condolences to the Ogilvie family. I remember your mum and dad with such fondness! I was 9 when they first started coming to Yorkton to teach Scottish country dancing. What fun we all had. It was great to catch up with George at the Scottish Pavilion every year to share memories of my Grandparents- Peter and Ivy Stout. Usually when one passes you think they will rest- but I figure George and Olive and all their friends are having one heck of a celebration!! May you find comfort in your memories. Hugs.

To the Ogilvie family. We want to extend our deepest sympathy. I have known George for many years having worked with Olive at Sears. They became very good friends. We will always cherish their memories. They were instrumental in teaching us dance. George has touched the lives of many people. With our sympathy

To George's Family
I was saddened to hear of the passing of George. I have many memories of him during my time with the Regina Multicultural Council, and the Scottish Society of Regina. Feisty at times he was, and stubborn at times, but always a joy to be around.
May your memories of him help you through this difficult time.

We’re so sorry to hear about George’s passing or as I would always call him, Mr. Ogilvie. :) I have fond memories of many family times at the house on Grace Street, Scottish Country Dancing in the ‘youth’ group and much time spent at Mosaic. I’m blessed to have known him. With heartfelt sympathy to Sheila and Doug and families.
