We wish to send our most sincere condolences to Diana, Kim & Ron who we knew many years
ago as we had the privilege to live across the street for 10 years (70's & 80's) from Len & Ursula who
were the best neighbors we could ever have wanted. We left that house as were transferred out of the city..
Our Labrador dog adored Len as he always had a treat for him.
Since Ursula's passing we would see Len once in a while to enjoy his friendliness, kindness & great
sense of humour.
Thank you,Len, for being you.

Julie, myself, and our family send our deepest condolences to your family and friends on this bittersweet day. The passing of Len is truly filled with both emotions-sadness and joy. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of this celebration and remembrance.
The bigger the relationship you have with a person, the bigger the hole in your life when they are gone. Grief can be like a punch in the gut. Mourning is our feelings and its outward expression as we remember and talk about the relationship we had. The memories that we share.
One of my earliest impressions of Len was his warmth, his engagement with people and surely his curious and sharp, analytical mind. I worried about getting into debates with Len because sometimes I felt I was going in unarmed. Another thing I was struck with about Len was his love of humour and how he loved to tease those around him. I too have that characteristic. I tried to tease Len about his driving but I had to temper that itch because Len would graciously drive himself and my mom to our home for Sunday supper. There were times I'm not sure if I was thankful mom wasn't driving, any more than I worried about either one of them being on the road. But they arrived safety each time and we broke bread together as family.
It's sad that people like Len have to go, that they have to leave us. But that's so we can miss them. Think of them. Remember them. To rejoice that they were with us. That's the part that will never go away.
Again our thoughts and prayers to you all.
Julie, John and the Lukomski Family.

Dear Hoseman family, I am Danuta's daughter, Barbara (Rod) Snell. I live in Vancouver, BC. I had the pleasure of meeting Len 7 years ago, as he got acquainted with Danuta. They enjoyed "coffee dates" at Tim Hortons, and I was privileged to be invited to a few. My visits to Regina with Mom always included visiting at Len's home. There, all the pictures of loved ones on the kitchen wall were introduced to me. With passion and love, he told me about each of them. His stories were amazing and detailed and full of love and joy. How my mother would smile and laugh as we passed the time together. Len always made everyone feel special, loved and important to him. He cared, and that was a special part of his amazing character. My deepest condolences on your loss. The world is a lot smaller without him. I loved him and miss my "buddy".
Love, Barbara and Rod Snell and family.

To my generous brother Lothar. He was a special kin to me, as only a brother can be. Our adventure in Canada was a bit different for him and me, but I always had that feeling we are of the same roots.
Him and me. We were not perfect but we had that aura among us you cannot have about anybody else.
So I cherish all the fleeting memories of him and of us.
And so he will be in my heart and mind forever. Amen
Lothar Rest in Peace.
With Love
Your brother Dieter

LOTHAR “LEN” HOSEMANN: A TRIBUTE
Lothar Hosemann’s passing marks a milestone in the long and exceptional life of an icon who personified an unparalleled innate love for humanity and whose presence always brought smiles, reassuring warmth and captivating friendliness to all around him.
I met Lothar and our beloved Ursula through my late friend Jide Koleoso when I arrived in Saskatoon in December 1965. Jide and I, as became customary in subsequent years, had our Christmas dinner at the Hosemanns with numerous foreign students as guests. Their home became our second home away from home as it was to legions of students and others from across the globe. The friendship that developed was most cherished; it has endured and will remain evergreen in our hearts.
I and my wife, Millicent, and our family wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to his children: Kim, Diana, and Ron; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relations.
May his noble soul rest in peace and may light perpetual shine on him.
