I have such fond memories of Michel. We grew up together in Timmins and shared many adventures...
• At the age of 8 years old or so, Michel decided that he and I should have a parade, so we marched around the neighbourhood with my fake guitar and his small drum.
• In our teens, we worked together at the circus, then off we went on a hitchhiking trip to Lamothe, Quebec.
• Prior to his wedding, I met up with Michel in Regina. We travelled together, toured and visited sites for a week before attending his wedding where I had the honour of being his best man.
We will miss him dearly and must now rely on the wonderful memories he has left us.
Nickita, Natasha, Samantha and Irene, our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are so very sad by the loss of Michel. We will cherish our memories of happy times and he will forever be in our hearts. We know you will support each other through this difficult time and we send your our love and best wishes for strength and courage. Lise and Jean-Guy xoxo
Very sorry to hear this news. I worked with Michel at CBC and remember him well. He always had a smile on his face and could sometimes be a bit capricious! May he rest in peace.
You'll always be loved and missed by us uncle! I wish I knew you were in such a bad place, I would have been there for you. You were the best God father a guy could have hoped for. I'll cherish all of my memories of you and the great times we've had over the years. You were always so kind to Gina and my girls and we wish that you could have come up to the lake with us this summer to check out our new cabin and relax with some good food and fishing.
