I love and miss Grandma so much! There were so many special memories with her and I throughout my childhood, teenage years and into becoming an adult that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I loved the afternoons where she would make a big helping of perogies or french fries, then sitting in the living room and playing a Super Nintendo game together on two player mode. She typically liked to play the first 4 or 5 levels that were easier for her to complete, and then would want to just sit back and watch me finish the remainder of the game. For the longest time I never really understood what enjoyment she may of gotten out of that, but now that I've had time to reflect on everything, I now know how much it meant to her seeing me in my element, happy and enjoying something that we both had an extreme passion for, as that always put a big smile on her face. She was always so proud talking about me to her friends any chance she had, and I am so eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to feel her love throughout my 32 years.
She had so much love in her heart to give to everyone around her, and she will forever hold a special place in my heart. One day, when it's my time and I see you again, you better believe I am giving you the biggest hug a person could give so you know how much you meant to me, and then catch up on everything over some Iced Cappuccinos and perogies while listening to some classic country tunes. I will hold you in my heart until I can hold you again in heaven.
I love you so much Gram, and even though I am struggling so very much with you not here beside me, I am trying not to cry because it's over, but instead smile because it happened. Please take good care of her up there God, after everything she's been through, she deserves to be eternally happy.
Love you with all my heart Gram

Dear Donna,
I can still hear your mom yelling at us when she didn’t let us go somewhere and we said we walk. mama June “Oh no you won’t!”
That was her favourite line with us. I remember she wouldn’t let’s us play the radio in the winter when she finally gave in and drove to where we wanted go. Your mom was a lot of fun and only wanted the best for her family and she will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
Take care Deb Holfeld
