Dear Rose, Camille, Joel and Family; Ron, Deb and Family, Lynne, Mike and Family;
Our friendship goes back many years and has been one of the great blessings in my life. It's hard for me to grasp that Alfred has left this earth. His smile, joy for life and his family and his laughter, would light up a room. Alfred was a righteous man, a kind man, a charitable man, and, a man of integrity. He made a stranger feel welcome as he extended his hand of friendship. When there was a need, Alfred made things happen in his family, community and our community of faith. May his reward in Heaven be great.
Mark and I send our love to all of you and ask the LORD to strengthen and comfort you as you go through your time of grieving.

Knew Alfred back in the 1960's . He was always interesting to meet and at social occasions over the years would often spend a few minutes . It is good to see someone reach his age and be so active all along. Surely to be missed by many..
Sincerely, C. Keith Inches.

Rose I was very saddened to read Alf’s passing.I was pleased to read the more extensive obituary on the website. It brought back many very pleasant and happy memories: dinners at your home and and Alf introducing me to the people of Sedleyand area. He was also a mentor to me on the dramatic changes occurring in Saskatchewan agriculture back in the 1970s. He was one of the provinces leaders in modernizing Saskatchewan agriculture.II also told him years ago I had forgiven him for nominating me to be the candidate in my first election!Rose please extend my condolences to the rest of the family and I’m sure everyone is like me being very grateful for many fond and happy memories .The Honourable J Gary and Liz Lane

Our most sincere condolences to Rose and family and to all of Alfred’s loved ones .
He was a wise and kind man who was very much looked up to and respected by many . When I had the privilege of serving as the Mayor of Sedley , I often sought his thoughts on numerous things concerning the community and things in general ,and I valued his opinions highly . His many contributions to his community will long be remembered and appreciated .
Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you who mourn his loss ! David and Pat Mayer

I am so thankful to have met Alfred many years ago when Janice and I were married. He and Rose were members of our Church in Weyburn, and he was always a great source of encouragement, wisdom and insight. I remover the time he introduced me to the congregation as Father David instead of Pastor David and we all got a big laugh out of that slip of the tongue. He was exuberant in his worship of his God and loved to tell people how he was saved. To his family, my condolences and prayers. Him and Janice are probably dancing in heaven and now he joins that great cloud of witnesses cheering us on in our walk of faith!
Grace and Peace!
