Jim and family. We were shocked to learn of the passing of Lucille. Even though we are neighbours we had no idea of her illness. Our hearts and prayers go out to you. If there is anything we can do please let us know.
We cherish many wonderful memories of Lucille. She was a woman of strong faith, tremendous perseverance, empathy, humour and most of all LOVE. She set the bar high. We're really going to miss her. We always will.
I was so little when we moved to the USA that I didn’t get to know my cousin very well. My mother, Elsa (her aunt) was very fond of Lucille and I know they are together with God. She had a full and productive life and she loved her family very much. Her loss will be felt by all.
On behalf of Lucille's cousins(parents Frank and Isabel Schroeder): David Schroeder, Pauline Schroeder Schmidt, and myself, Roberta Schroeder Turnbull, I want to send along our sincere condolences to Lucille's family on her recent passing. Pauline and I reconnected with Lucille at the Jansen reunion in 2005 and Lucille and I have stayed in contact ever since. So appreciated her letters and emails and her lovely sense of humour and know she will be greatly missed.
