I have so many fond memories of my grandma. I remember her taking me shopping to find the perfect dress and black shoes to wear to church. We spent the whole day shopping and found a black velvet dress with a light pink bow and I loved that dress so much that I even wore it for my school pictures that year. To this day I still love velvet.
I remember my grandma being the only one who could come with me when I had to put my dog Bubba down. She let me cry and cried with me and stayed with me for a day or two. It meant the world to me that she was there for me.
I remember how happy she was when my son Leighavo and I would go visit her and how her eyes and smile would light up full of love.
I remember her being a strong and feisty woman who knew how to make others laugh with her shenanigans and wicked sense of humour.
I remember being with her during her last few days and moments before she passed and how peaceful she looked when God, her family, friends and angels took her to her new home in heaven where I know she is no longer in pain or suffering and where I am sure she is lighting up heaven with those big blue beautiful eyes and her contagious smile. I love you my sweet grandma and will forever miss you. You will always hold a special place on my heart ❤️

Hanging out at the Fritz house was always warm fun and inviting, Deanna always made me feel welcome safe and loved. When ever I was in trouble I had a place to go. I have many good memories, from her driving us around on a Friday night cause we were bored to going to North Dakota with them. She would dance with us and always made us laugh. I had the pleasure of seeing her before her stroke and even though people discouraged her she always gave people in need a place to stay or some friendly advice. I feel fortunate too have known her and guilty for not seeing her after. I know she will be missed by everyone she has touched.
My sincere condolences to you all and your families
