So sorry to have missed the funeral, all condolences and respect to the family. I remember watching Rider games and having dinners and drinks with Fernie and Ev over! Fernie always had a joke, removing his false teeth or wiggling his ear, whistling a song to make the kids laugh (actually he was messing with us)! He was the first of Mank's best friends I saw that was musically inclined and always jovial. He will be missed. A great man. take care and all the best. Miles
So sad to hear about Fernie's passing. Always a smile on his face and a happy heart. Thinking about you all and the many times our families hung out and enjoyed good times. Ah those were the days. Hopefully these happy memories will get you through this tough time.
Please accept our sympathies! Fernie was always ready with some great music or a funny joke. My memories will always be his happy smile and how nice he was to Jim's Mom when she was in Imperial!
