Mildred Gutenberg

In loving memory of Mildred Gutenberg of Regina, SK., who passed away peacefully Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 85 years. Mildred was born March 31, 1934 in Wapella, SK and raised on a farm south of Wapella. Mildred is predeceased by her husband Walter Gutenberg; twin sons who died at birth, Joseph and Edward; her parents, Clarke and Laura Hales; and siblings Edward Hales, Margaret Daniel and Douglas Hales. Mildred leaves to mourn her passing son David; daughters Darlene Smith, Debbie (Jim) Hines, Denise (Rod) Ell; 8 grandchildren, Melissa (Dustin) Livingstone, Janeen (Sam) Barber, Christine (Norb) Lenius, Michael (Nicole) Hines, Alicia Hines, Chad Ell (Melissa Easter), Amanda Ell (Matt Halbgewachs), Matthew Ell; 11 great grandchildren, Noah and Issac Livingstone, Kieren and Tylen Hines, Madison and Adelyn Hines, Callie Lenius, Declan and Anna Barber, Nevaeh and Autumn Ell. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. James Anglican Church, 1105 Empress St., Regina, SK. The family wishes to thank the staff at College Park I for their care in looking after our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
