Obituary of Leonard Stanley Yasinowski
Leonard was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on November 5, 1955. Len and Maxine were married on June 17, 1989. They had two loving children, Sheldon (who predeceased his dad) and Amanda (Tim). Len also has five beautiful granddaughters, Phoebe, Isabell, Arabell, Helena and Sadie, and one grandson Wade. He was predeceased by his father Stanley and Mother Stephine (Kosik). Len is also survived by his four siblings, Sylvia, Theresa (Gord), Steven (Cathy) and Bev. His mother-in-law; sister and brothers-in-law; as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Leonard spent many years working in construction and made his mark on the Western provinces. Everyone who knew him knew he loved his concrete. Yazy’s Rock Palace was a great example of that.
Leonard was a very loving and caring Son, Husband, Father, Grandpa, Uncle and Friend. He loved to go hunting in the winter with this friend Dave and then make sausage. Len was more than happy to tell you about the time he caught a 100 year old fish in Sandy Bay. Len also loved to ride his Harley any chance he had, either for a short ride around town or to Calgary to visit his family. We were all saddened when he fell ill two years ago. We are comforted to know that he is at peace sleeping in death as said in John 11:11.
In Loving Memory
Leonard Yasinowski
