Obituary of John George Bradley
John George “Jack” Bradley was born to George Benjamin Bradley and Jesse Elizabeth (nee Rogan) at Kedleston, Saskatchewan, on April 22, 1922. He was brother to Jean (Peter Grund), Beth (Ken Mortin), Peg (Jack Mortin), Helen (Ray Busche), Lois (Ivor Jones), Louise (Roy Hickey) and Archie (Sylvia Proctor). Jack died at the Pasqua Hospital as the sun set on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of more than 68 years, Shirle (nee Klatt), children Kim (Marjorie), Pam (John Almond), Rogan (Wanda), Ward (Lisa) and Carla (Ray) Plosker; grandchildren Morgan (Cody) Hyam, Joshua (Asako) Bradley, Jaime (Bryan) DeKelver, Sam (Janeen) Barber, Taylor Bradley, Mackenzie Bradley, Lindsay Sidall, Casey (Tom) Piercey, Gabriel (Jill) Plosker and Noah (Jordan) Plosker; great-grandchildren Austin Macaulay, Grayson DeKelver, Declan Barber, Anna Barber, Adelaide Piercey, Mckenna Piercey, Arden Plosker, and Malin Plosker; sisters Peg, Helen and Louise; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dad was wounded while fighting for his country with the Winnipeg Rifles at the Battle for the Scheldt in 1944. Although his first love was working on the farm with horses, he was employed as grain farmer, grain buyer and later superintendent for McCabe Grain, insurance salesman, furniture salesman, upholsterer and Commissionaire.
