I just seen this and it brought many memorys of the 80s in saskatoon when john,kieth, clem et al would come to meetins at are office or we went to regina
he was a wealth of information and it was common place for us to "call john"

I was sorry to read about John's passing. He and I were close colleagues for more than 20 years with Health and Social Services and a better co-worker there could not be. We complemented one another so well that I felt we were a "dynamic duo" capable of a accomplishing any task. My memories of John mostly make me smile because we had a 'special" perspective on government service. I am sure John will be remembered fondly.
I worked with your dad for a short time in the early 1980's. He had such a great sense of humour and a lot of wisdom. You were lucky to have him for a father! So sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful person.
