Obituary of Rita Shields

On Monday, June 10, 2019, Rita Shields passed peacefully at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Sarah Christina McLaren; grandson AJ; the father of her children John Shields and her sister Dorothy. Rita is survived by her children:, Colin and his children Kyle (Courtney) and Troy and their mother Barbara; Janice and her children Jessica and Scott and their father Mark; Ian and his children Nicholas and Madison and their mother Nicole; as well as many nieces and nephews. Rita was well-loved and showed us how to accept life’s unexpected.  The family would like to thank Regina Lutheran Home and a special thank you to Jan Cox for all of her help over the years.  A Memorial Tea will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK.   Online condolences may be left at www.paragonfuneralservices.com
