Obituary of Melford John Ball

Melford passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2019 in the Lumsden and District Heritage Home at the age of 101 years and ten months.   He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn; sons John and Raymond; grandson John Kasick and six siblings.    Melford will be dearly remembered by his daughters Dorothy (Ron) and Lorna (Rob); grandchildren Heidi (Chris), Paul (Lavonne), David (Jill), Mark (Sheila), Pam, Randy, John and Raymond; great-grandchildren Tyler, Jordan, Sarah, Henry, Adrian, Lenora, Eric, Abby, Holly, Myah, Tate, Dane and Selena; great-great-granddaughter Alice; and sister Dorie.  Melford’s life will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019 in Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 205 Broad Street, Lumsden, SK with Pastor Liz Kuglin-Alyea officiating.   The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the home for their kind and compassionate care for Melford during his time there.   In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Melford may be made to the Lumsden and District Heritage Home, 10 Aspen Bay, Lumsden, SK S0G 0C0 or to Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.  Online messages of condolence may be left at www.paragonfuneralservices.com
