Obituary of Geraldine Campbell

Geraldine Campbell, 94, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in the Pasqua Hospital with her son, Glenn by her side.  Gerry was born February 27, 1925 in Milestone, Saskatchewan to Gladys and Isaac Glenn.  In 1945, she married her childhood sweetheart Bryce Campbell and they started farming in the Milestone area.  Gerry worked tirelessly on the farm driving grain truck, preparing meals and keeping track of the finances.  She was an avid gardener, loved to read, was an active member in the Milestone United Church choir, and served over 25 years as treasurer of the UCW.  Gerry is survived by her son Glenn (Evelyn) Campbell; grandchildren Tisha Keeler and Brent (Gwen) Bilsky; and six great-grandchildren, Anthony, Dalton, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Joseph and Ian.  She was predeceased by her husband Bryce Campbell; daughter Mary (Ralph) Bilsky; parents Isaac and Gladys Glenn; and her brother Stan (Jean) Glenn.  Thank you to the Dove House for their kind and generous care over the last 4 ½ years.   A Celebration of Gerry’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the Milestone Masonic Hall, 125 Main Street, Milestone, SK.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Geraldine’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or to Diabetes Canada, 919B Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 2P6.  For online messages of condolence, please visit www.paragonfuneralservices.com
