Dean left us all with his zest for life. He was a great example for all who had the opportunity to meet him. He was a tremendous athlete and participated in curling, golf and bowling right up to a year ago. In August of 2016 his Viceroy Baseball team was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He played for them from 1946 to 1950 and was the oldest player to attend the induction ceremony.
Dean loved people the most and everywhere he went he made new friends instantly. Dean will be missed tremendously and will always be loved by all.
Thank you to the staff at Harvest Haven Broadway Terrace, Regina Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care and Regina Wascana Grace Hospice-Salvation Army for the compassionate care Dean received. Thank you to family and friends for your love and support. A private memorial service was held.
