Obituary of Pearl Potter

Our mother Pearl passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2019 with family by her side.  Pearl was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Katherine Gruszecki; husband Gordon; brothers Barney and Mike; sisters Josephine and Sandy; sisters-in-law Edna and  Eileen; brothers-in-law Leonard, John, and Alex Makarow; and great-granddaughter Paige.  Left to mourn Pearl are her children Leonard (Vera), Gordon D. (Lynn), Darlene (John), Wayne (Ann), John, Edna, Katherine and Terry (Connie), 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and former daughter-in-law Linda.

A private family graveside service will be held.  A Celebration of Life for Mom will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at The Serb Club, 2775 Avonhurst Drive, Regina, SK.

Pearl’s family would like to extend thanks to all staff at Parkside Extendicare who cared for Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pearl may be made to the Saskatchewan Parkinson’s Society, #110B-2103 Airport Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6W2.
