Obituary of Lorelei Ann Terry (Zsombor)

We are saddened by Lorelei’s unexpected passing in Regina at the age of 51 years on Saturday, April 20, 2019.   Lorelei was predeceased by her father Edgar (Ed) Zsombor; nephew Nicholas Tate Hoff; grandparents; uncle and aunt Albert and Mathilda Zsombor; cousin Brent Kalyniuk and other family members.  She leaves to mourn; her son Calvin Terry; mother Marian Zsombor, sisters Sheena Dundas (Stan) and Naomi Hoff (Todd); nephew Austin Dundas, nieces Tiffany Dundas, Anika Hoff and Elizabeth Hoff; as well as Calvin’s dad Roscoe Terry.

Lorelei went to elementary school in Pilot Butte and later attended high school at Greenall in Balgonie.   Although she worked mainly in retail, she spent many years working at the Silver Sage Casino and Casino Regina.  Lorelei was presently employed with Lowe’s in Harbour Landing, Regina.  This was a place where she took great pride in and was grateful for how accommodating they were with her health conditions.  Lorelei suffered for many years with Crohn’s Disease and other health issues.   Even in the midst of her pain she tried to be cheerful and optimistic, a common quote from her was “It could be worse”.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, 2636 7th Avenue East,  Regina, SK, with Fr. Brian Meredith presiding.
