Obituary of Arnold Fink

Arnold Fink, born March 30, 1928 passed away on Saturday April 27, 2019 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 91.  Predeceased by his parents, Magdalena and John Fink Sr.; brothers William Fink (Olive), John Fink (Elma)(Yvonne Trach), Alex Fink (Blanch), Peter Fink in infancy, Anthony Fink, Peter Fink (Emelia); sisters Hilda Fink, Caroline McPhee (Jack), Mary Fisher (Lambert Keller) (Peter Fisher); brother in law Frank Trach; nephews John Francis Fink and Michael Keller. Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lorraine; his children Wayne Fink (Lanie) and his family, Jolene, Roxanne (Les), Ashley (Tyler);  Marlene Knipple and her family, Nadeen (Johnny);  Louise Thompson (Allan) and her family, Trevor (Sara), Brittany (Ian);  Brad Fink (Tracey) his family, Amy (Logan), Jenelle (Scott) and Brandon (Pam); Aileen Boehm (Andre) and her family, Olivia; 18 great grandchildren, many sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special mention to extended family, Lorraine and Wes Wolfe, Hal and Moreen Knipple, Jocelyn Schaeffer, Marina and Leonard Baumgartner, Frank Dornstauder, Lorne Dornstauder and his coffee buddies. Arnold loved farming and building things and was a true Mr. Fix it. He loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing. He was an avid Rider fan, either working or watching the games.  In the winter he enjoyed watching curling and doing jigsaw puzzles.  But most importantly he was a proud grandfather and loved seeing all his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s accomplishments. The family would like to thank the Dr’s and nursing staff on 3F CCU and 5E of the General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, May 6, 2019 at St. Paul’s R.C. Parish, Vibank, SK. Interment will follow in Vibank Cemetery.
