Obituary of Adeline Kaisowatum

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of a dear wife, loving mother, sister, auntie, Kokum, great grandmother, cousin and friend Adeline Kaisowatum (Cappo) Rainbow Girl “Sḗhnipan Ihkwḗsḗns” passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 22, 2019. Predeceased by twins in infancy; her parents, Joseph & Philomene (Wolfe) Cappo; brothers George (Eva), Steven, Sam (Alice), Earl, Edward, Robert, Delbert (Joanie); sisters Florence & Violet. Survived by one sister Janice (Fred); her husband Ernest; sons Richard (Cindy), Deon (Brenda), Beryl, Derwin, Allen (Monica), Greg (Renae); daughters Annette (Har), Patsy, Ramona (Robin), Holly (Sam), Sherry, Loretta (Clayton), Marcy (Joseph); adopted daughters Janice & Beatrice; special niece Tammy; 50 grandchildren & 27 great grandchildren; Kokum Anne; Kokum Helen and special friends Alec & Sharon. The family would like to thank Dr. Kielly & Dr. VanRooyen and nursing staff of Unit 4B and Palliative Care Unit 3A at the Pasqua Hospital, Chief  & Council of Piapot First Nation for their continuous support and prayers. Wake will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, March 25, 2019 at Piapot Band Hall with Funeral Service at 11:00 am Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the same location. Interment will follow at Piapot Cemetery.
