Obituary of Arthur Eric Hollstein
With sad hearts and happy memories, we mourn the passing of Arthur Eric Hollstein. Arthur was born to Alfred and Emma Holstein on October 3, 1935 in Killaly, SK and passed away peacefully at the Salvation Army William Booth Special Care Home in Regina, SK on March 20, 2019, at the age of 83. Archie is predeceased by his wife Julie; parents; stepdaughter, Diane; sister in law, Ruby; brothers, Helmuth and Heins; his sisters, Edith, Edna and Shirley; and his beloved cat, Miss Puss. He is survived by his brothers, Kirt and Harold (Odette); and his two stepsons, Larry (Debbie) and Alvin (Ronda) Sentes; and many nephews, nieces, step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. The 29 years of life with Julie and 45 years with AA was a blessing on his life which he praised the Lord and gave thanks. He was content to be given a gift of life and was at peace to cross over to Julie, mother and father, brothers and sisters, and into the arms of the Lord. Wherever he went, “Praise the Lord” was on his lips. Archie spent many years working at IPSCO in Regina and was an avid Rider fan. Archie and Julie’s greatest trip was to the Holy Land, supplemented by Christian Conventions in Canada and USA. After retirement, many years were spent at Kanata Valley, their dream home, before relocating to Regina, for health reasons. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Gateway Christian Fellowship Church, 1812 Arthur Street, Regina, SK, with Pastor Brian Larratt officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
In Loving Memory
