Olga Kotyk passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at the age of 76 years in Regina, SK. She is predeceased by her parents Metro and Mary Spelay; brother Andy Spelay; brother in law Ernie Wozney and nephew Ernie Dombrowski Jr. Olga will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Bohdan “Ben”; three sons Claude (Sandra), Wes (Keri) and Rick (Melanie); six grandchildren Curtis (Brooke), Sarah (Daniel) Fahlman, Brenden (Kellan), Jared, Ashley (James) and Daniel; two great grandchildren, Blake and Isabelle; brother George (Rose); four sisters Eleanor Wozney, Sylvia (Paul) Beblow, Vivian Dombrowski, Elizabeth Spelay and numerous nieces and nephews. Olga grew up on the farm in the Whitesand District and attended Beblow School. Following her schooling she moved to Regina. She married Ben in 1962. Olga enjoyed being creative which was evident in her knitting, crocheting, embroidery and numerous other crafting activities. Olga enjoyed tending to the garden but most of all she loved everything about her family and especially her grandchildren’s lives. Whether it was attending a hockey game, dance recital, passing on a family recipe or organizing a sleepover she was always happy being a part of their lives. Olga’s family would like to thank everyone at Pioneer Village involved in her care for the excellent care and compassion they provided. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at St. Basil’s Ukranian Catholic Church, 1747 Toronto St., Regina, SK with Fr. Vladimir Simunovic as Celebrant.
