Lori & Erna, want to share our condolences to the whole family.
We can remember great visits in Melville and up at Clear Lake seeing you all.
Erna and Bette always shared a phone call or card for their cousin's birthdays.
We were all happy to attend 50th wedding anniversary of Lawrence and Bette in Regina.
Thinking of you all... Lori and Erna

Our condolences to Lawrence and family. May your precious memories be a support to all of you at this sad time and in the upcoming time as well.
We will remember Bette especially from Lions events and so appreciated her friendly nature. Her humorous stories were a "given" when we were in her presence. We are grateful to have known her.

Remembering what seemed like many summers spent visiting “out west” with my family as a child. Only sunny, pleasant and peaceful memories - with Aunt Bette (and Uncle Lawrence and Grandma Goll and our cousins) at the centre of it. Also warmly remembering the visits by the Switzers to our home in Ontario -always a big deal for us. Among other things I remember Aunt Bette as being very down-to-earth (maybe because of all the gardening!). Rest in prairie Peace Aunt Bette.

My memories of my Aunt Bette go back very far and are very fond. As children, my brothers and I always looked forward to unwrapping the Christmas gifts she sent as much to see the boxes they came in as the gifts themselves. Aunt Bette would never use a gift box from Eaton's if a cornflakes box would do! She was ahead of her time in recycling. Aunt Bette, with Uncle Lawrence, were the all-important link between my brothers and me and our late mother's family. They welcomed us, our spouses and our children again and again to their home. She overcame her fear of flying to attend all of our weddings. I loved listening to her stories and jokes, I loved her appreciation of pretty things, I loved reading her annual Christmas letter, I loved hearing and repeating stories of her shuffleboard prowess, I loved her puffed wheat cake and I just plain loved her. I am grateful that she was a part of my life. With sympathy, Jan
