My heart is heavy as I write these words.
My condolences and prayers go out to you Kathy and your beautiful family.
I'm sad I could not be with everyone today to celebrate the life of this wonderful person, Gary Wallace.
As everyone knows, Gary made a lasting impression on every person he met.
My family were blessed to know him. He was like a grandfather to our kids and a dear dear friend to Joan and me.
It was meant for us to meet so he could enrich my life and the many people he touched.
I am glad I had the chance to see him last week to once again, share a meal and as always have a few laughs too.
Although you are not here Gary, your spirit will be with me and many forever.
Thank you for your wonderful friendship.
Joe Chad

So sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Jeff called us last evening with the sad news. You and Gary were Jeff's parents away from home those many years ago and we, as well as Jeff, so appreciate that. It made a difference to us all. Jeff had many great stories to tell of his time with you and we so enjoyed your visit to Saskatoon when they were here a few years ago. Gary was a real, down to earth, open, friendly personality. I am sure there are many who are remembering stories that make them smile right now. Our thoughts are with your family. Chris, I hope to get out to see you when you come to Saskatoon next month.

Dear Kathy,
My deepest condolences to you guys. Gary was a great guy, I can always remember him and dad talking fishing and going downstairs to the basement to see dad's fishing gear, and who can remember the Cherry Dream Cake, whenever he was in town and we got together he would also ask where his cake was, So in his honor I have made the cake, and will be sharing with friends as I remember Gary.
Rest in Peace
Denise

I am so sorry to learn of Gary's passing. My family and I lived next door to Gary and you Kathy for 15 years. Gary was the most down to earth person I ever had the pleasure of meeting and you both were the best neighbors we ever had. I'll always remember Gary as being a great cook especially at barbecuing and many times I would poke my head over the fence to see what was on the grill.
I know he will be greatly missed and my sincere condolences to you Kathy and to your family.

Our family is deeply sad to hear about Gary's passing. Tim and I enjoyed his stories immensely and I enjoyed having continuous conversations about female hockey. Tim will also remember Gary as someone who changed his way of eating a bologna sandwich with onions. Our prayers are with you all of you at this difficult time.
