Eva Syhlonyk Eva passed away on September 14, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Eva was predeceased by her husband Dan; infant daughter Patricia; parents Dumitru and Domnica Kostiuk; brothers Bill and Nick; sisters Jean, Laura and Freda. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Peter (Eileen) and children Tammy, Kim (Shawn Ogrodnick) and Shane; Ed (Karen) and children Lindsay and Daylen (Wendy Goodyear); and her daughters Elaine Linton and children Ryland (Janna), Raelyne (Ryan) Dusyk and Randy (Tayler Cameron); Sherry (Doug) Purcell and children Cabree and Jenna; as well as nine great-grandchildren: Tristin; Brooklyn, Brody and Ashlyn; Ryder and Halle; Gracelyn, Anneliese and Emily. Eva is also survived by her brother Leon (Hannah) and her sisters Mary Stann and Gloria (Bill) Krasiun. Eva was born near Southey. She married Dan Syhlonyk and they raised their family on a farm in the Avonlea area, before retiring to Regina. Eva was a resident of Parkside Extendicare and then Santa Maria Nursing Home over the past ten years. Mom enjoyed visiting with her children and grandchildren and was always especially delighted to see and hold her newest great-grandchild. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Santa Maria Nursing Home Chapel, 4215 Regina Ave., Regina, SK.
