Sid and I will forever miss our beautiful friend Maxine but know she is finally free of all her suffering she endured for many years. Luckily we came together as friends when she took the bus to work and Sid being her bus driver Maxine introduced him to Tee Kwon Do. A few days before Maxine passed we were messagin g each other and she was talking about videos her daughter brought for her to watch of past memories. That made her very happy. Our last words to each other was " I love You very muc h".
Rest in peace Maxine . Love you XOXO

Elvis or the Beatles. It is said one cannot love them both. Maxine’s love for was for Elvis. I am on the Beatles side of love... but
I crossed over to Elvis every Christmas.
I listened to it endlessly with my mom so bonding with my mother in law over something so special is how I will always remember Maxine.
We didn’t just listen to the fast popular songs, we sang to them all.
Thank you for starting me on my collection of Santa figures as well.
I picture you dancing and singing, pain free Maxine.

My thoughts and prayers are with you All. I’ll always remember Max for her glam. Her love of beautiful clothes and jewellery. She dressed to the “nines” but amongst her family and extended fam she was the “10”. I admired her for that, A cook she was not. I’ll never forget the shake n’ bake unstuffed turkey in the microwave for Christmas which was impossible for Jerome to cut...need I say more...I still chuckle. Max, I’ll smile during the New Years’ fireworks from now onwards, because I’ll see you sparkling in glam amongst the glitter of the fireworks that you rose on to join your passed loved ones. You chose the perfect day that we’ll never forget. You were loved and will be missed. You’re free from your suffering, now RIP. Sending love and hugs to ALL! xo

Such sadness to lose loved ones so young! One of my fondest memories of Auntie Maxine was visiting at Grandma's on Mitchell Street one time in the late 80's or early 90's. We were horsing around and I caught a bit of hell as she reminded me she had broken (or injured) her tail bone and that I shouldn't play so rough.... Always in my thoughts. Love Greg

It’s hard to believe you’re gone, but your fight is finally over. I remember coming over as a kid and playing cards , or drawing pictures of us to put up on your fridge, playing with your endless supply of teddy bears, and climbing your big tree while you laughed and took pictures. I remember just sitting on your couch a couple years ago while we’re both playing candy crush, and seeing who could get the better score ( you always won of course ;) ). I still have the necklace you gave me when i was little and i still wear it to this day, i know your in a better place now and you’ll never be forgotten. Rest in peace , i love you.

It is hard to write just one good memory...as a kid you did so much with me. From taking me to the park...to video taping me biking up and down your street for HOURS, to teaching me how to line dance while blasting music on the good ol jukebox. Probabaly my greatest memory is how happy you were to see your first great grand daughter when she was born. I will always love you and miss you. RIP grandma you are truly in a better place now.
