Obituary of John Harty

John Joseph Harty On December 19, 2015, John passed away peacefully at the age of 55, surrounded by his family. John was sadly predeceased by the two loves of his life, wife, Wendy (nee Olson) (1993) and his only child, Curtis (2002); father, Andrew (2001); nieces and nephews: Amy Harty, Theresa Charbonneau, Quentin and Blaine Goudy and Jay Harty. John is survived by his loving mother, Reta; siblings: Marge (Don) Goudy, Wayne (Carmen), Lee (Darlene), Andrea (Len) Gartner, Cyril (Daphne), Quentin (Norine), Joe (Janet) Charbonneau; siblings-in-law, Marie (Mike) Sumpter, James Olson, Brenda Olson (Ken); and a large extended family. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Ave., Regina, SK with Fr. Jose Periyilkatte as Celebrant. The family wishes to express their gratitude to those caring for John while he was in Pasqua Hospital ICU and to the management and staff of Evraz Place (where John was employed) for their thoughtfulness and generosity.
