KAISWATUM (Benjoe), Shelly Christina May

Shelly was born April 5, 1965 and was called home on August 27, 2018 at the age of 53 with family by her side. Shelly was predeceased by her dad’s Steven Cappo and Keith Lavallee; grandparents Christina and Joseph Benjoe, Elizabeth and Joseph Cappo; sister Julie Shingoose. Shelly is survived by her loving partner who was by her side for 33 years Gary and their children William (Marissa), Brandon (Shay) and Dylan; special nieces Tia and Sierra; her grandson whom she raised as her own, Dayshawn and 2 girls Isabella and Jade. She had two mom’s Jean and Roseanne Benjoe; sisters Heather and Sandra; brothers Nick and Clarence; sisters in law Arla, Janice, Cheryl, Janice Benjoe and Candi; brothers in law Roy, Milton, Dion and Darren. A special thank you to the staff at Pasqua hospital for the exceptional; care provided to Shelly. Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Piapot Community Center, Piapot First Nation, SK with Traditional Funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Piapot Community Center.
