Bill was also an Uncle - younger brother of my Dad Lloyd and to me he was the most like my Dad. We didn't visit often but every time I saw him I was reminded of Dad who was taken from us far too soon. He had a sly grin and a sideways glance he did with his eyes that always reminded me of Dad.
I knew he was a furrier but sadly I never got to see any of his work. I did however benefit by his woodworking skills. Back in the nineties he and Coby came to visit John and I in Fergus and he must have noticed a tacky little lazy Susan on my kitchen table. He must have made some mental notes about size and type of wood because about a month later a beautiful oak lazy Susan arrived in the mail. It matched my table perfectly! It still sits on my table and reminds me of Uncle Bill.
