Mr. Cuthbert was a great teacher. I was taught by him at Albert School, then he subbed years later when i was in high school. I have many good memories of him, but him teaching our whole class the old Hop-a-long Cassidy theme song is one that i remember so clearly. He really loved his profession and it showed. Rest in peace Mr. Cuthbert.

Mr. Cuthbert is one of my top 5
favourite teachers. I think of him often for his sense of humour while teaching a bunch of “tweens”’at Henry Janzen.
My condolences to Tanis and all of the family. He was a kind man.

Goodbye my dear cousin, you are now resting at peace. Although in recent years we have not often been in contact, I do remember with fondness and joy some of our shared good times when we were young and in particular our jaunts to Regina Beach to swim, water ski and afterwards have fish and chips at Butlers! Although they were little girls when I last saw them, I want to extend my condolences to your daughters and their families. They will miss you, and I will miss our good natured ribbing we gave each other whenever we talked.

Dear Tanis, Kim and families,
Please accept my most sincere sympathies on the passing of your Dad. I taught with Richard at Henry Janzen, and, oh the fun we had with him on staff! He was a caring educator and such a fine man! Though I never met either of you girls, I certainly heard lots about you from your loving dad. May he now have eternal rest and may you take comfort in this . I can hear him, in the heavens, teasing many colleagues and friends who have passed before him. You’ll be missed, Richard!
