Obituary of Roxene Harris-Swayn

HARRIS-SWAYN, Roxene

Roxene, who passed away June 16, 2018, is now at peace and without pain. She was born on March 7, 1946, in Kincaid, SK. She was predeceased by her mother Eva (nee Bleau) and father Frank Beler. Roxene is survived by her loving husband Doug Swayn, her daughter Sharlene Harris, sons Matthew (Zina) Harris, Danial (Nancy) Harris, Stephen Harris; grandchildren Steven, Robyn, Jayde, Brooks, and Garrett Harris. Roxene is also survived by her stepmother Myrtle Beler. Some of Roxene's favorite things in life were her children, planting flowers, as well as singing both solo and with her family band. She was also noted for her passion of making and selling Barbie doll clothes as well as her reflexology work. As per Roxene's request, there will be no service or gathering. She will be cremated and will rest in the Buffalo Gap Cemetery. A special thank you to the staff on the 2nd floor of the Santa Maria Senior Care Home. A big thank you also goes out to other staff at the home who also knew and worked with Roxene. In lieu of flowers or gifts, a donation can be made to the Santa Maria Senior Care Home in Regina, SK, on her behalf.
