AMYOTTE, Elvis Ross

APRIL 17, 1956 – JUNE 4, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Elvis Amyotte on Monday, June 4, 2018, at the age of 62 following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Elvis was born in Indian Head, spent most of his youth and adult years in Regina, and lived in Wynyard for the past 20+ years. Elvis loved to hunt and fish, and he said recently that he’d rather be fishing than just lying around in a hospital bed.

Elvis was predeceased by his parents, John and Isabel Amyotte, and brothers Melvyn and David. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Joyce; daughter Candace McKenzie (grandson AJ and granddaughter Alyssa); son Trevor McKenzie (grandsons Noah and Jackson); sisters Gertie (Richard) Valley, Jacki Amyotte Litke, and Laurie (Barry) Ault; brothers Raymond (Theresa) Amyotte and Gene (Donna) Amyotte; stepchildren Corey, Myrna, Chasity, and Mason (Melissa), and their children. Elvis will also be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Keinen and Deztiny, whom he was raising with Joyce, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and many friends.

Following Elvis’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
