Obituary of Grace Elizabeth Kot

Grace went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 80 years of age.  Grace is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Melvina Townsend, husbands, George Patzwald, 1990 and Gerald Kot, 2011. Mum is survived by her 5 children, Murray (Bernadine) Patzwald, Linda (Greg) Collins, Shelley (Dave) Bilboe, Sandy (Joe) Novak, and Colleen Arlt; 10 grandchildren, Derek (Stefanie) Bilboe, Shalen Bilboe (Ciaran) and Megan Bilboe, Landon (Lisa) Novak, Kira Novak and Leah (Kevin) Wenaus, Marina Patzwald and Jordan (Alana) Patzwald, Colin (Courtney) Arlt and Brittany Arlt called her Muma; 10 great-grandchildren, Ava, Mia and Jackson Bilboe, Samuel and Mackenzie Patzwald, Kinnley Wenaus and Owen Novak and Nevaeh, Natalie and Kingsley Arlt called her Grandma Kot; brother Gordon (Myrna) Townsend. Randy Arlt had a special place in Mum’s heart. Mum loved family times and was an excellent cook.  Our house was always open and there was ample food to be enjoyed by all with the hope we could take home some of the leftovers. Mum loved shopping.  From Costco to garage saling, she always loved a bargain. Mum worked at Little Bavaria for over 25 years. Her greatest joy and delight were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Mum's life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 4th Avenue North & Hamilton St. Regina, SK with Pastors Lucas Albrecht and Ted Giese as celebrants. Fellowship to follow in the church hall. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home and the Regina Pasqua Hospital for the excellent care they provided for Mum. We would also like to thank family and friends for all their compassion, love and support during this time.
