Obituary of Lyndon Brian Kaiser
Kaiser- Lyndon Brian passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. Lyndon was born in Tisdale, SK on April 21, 1952. As a young man, Lyndon worked for the Dept. of Parks and Recreation at Green Water Lake, SK. Being a risk taker, Lyndon on a whim headed out to the West Coast with $35 in his pocket where he worked in the fishing and logging industries. Struggling to stay afloat financially, Lyndon returned to Saskatchewan. With the help of his brother, Lyndon landed a job with CN Rail. He worked his way up the ranks and became the youngest appointed Roadmaster at the age of 21. Life changed for Lyndon when he met the love of his life Phyllis. They married on June 11, 1983 and welcomed two daughters. Lyndon was a dedicated husband and father and together they went on many trips and adventures. He loved carpentry, canoeing, camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, going for coffee, making wine, sausage and noodles and most of all joking. He was a dedicated and passionate worker retiring with 41 years of service. Lyndon was proud of his career but what brought him the most pride was his two daughters. Lyndon and Phyllis built a strong foundation for their daughters to have every opportunity to succeed. Lyndon was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Helen. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Phyllis; daughters, Stephanie and Jacklyn (Conrad); brother, David (Joan); niece Kristi (Frank); nephew Kyle (Shannon); and by many caring friends. A special thank you to Dr. Zwai, his colleagues and the RGH staff of unit 5F, who provided Lyndon with the utmost care. Lyndon’s family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Cecilia and Ron for their continued support and love. Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, both from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, 1701 Cowan Cr., Regina, SK. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Angel Hair for Kids Program (A Child’s Voice Foundation) https://www.acvf.ca.
