Clifford William Middleton

Clifford William Middleton passed away with family at his side on May 26, 2017 at the age of 92. Cliff was predeceased by his parents Herb and Sarah (Higgins); brother Herbie and his wife Vi; brother-in-law Bob McNeice; wife Pauline (Meckling); mother of his children Helen (Foster); and daughters-in-law Carmelle Lemieux and Gaylene Middleton. He is survived by his daughter Christine Sali; her children Jeff Sali (Robyn) Isaac, Charlie and Alex; Kevin Sali and Liam Sali; Janine (Damon) Cavan; his son Bill Middleton, Bill's daughter, Brenna (Ray) Jenkins, Alexia and Zach; Pauline's children, Kathy Mills (Jim); Bob (Darcie) Mills, David; Doug Mills, Zach, Cody; sister Dorothy McNeice; sister-in-law Iiene Norton; as well as many nieces and nephews. Cliff was born on the farm near Pense. He farmed as a young man and after trying some other businesses, Cliff went to work on road construction building the boundary dam. In 1959 he moved his family to Regina and became a city bus driver. He loved the job and the people; he worked until the day he turned 65. In retirement, Cliff was an avid gardener and volunteer. Music was always a big part of his life. Cliff was a strong banjo and harmonica player and in retirement he learned the accordion. He played with the Grand Coulee Jug Band, The Heritage Fiddlers and The Happy Entertainers, to name a few. Cliff was a kind, loving man who will be missed by all that knew him. There will be a graveside service held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK with a social to follow at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK. Donations may be made to Mutchmor Lodge, 328 Century Crescent, Regina, SK or Broadway United Church.
