Obituary of Agnes Marie Pelletier

Agnes Marie Pelletier (nee Brown) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Agnes Pelletier. Agnes was born December 2, 1917 and passed away in Regina on January 26, 2017 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by her husband George, son Peter, daughter Yvonne and great granddaughter Carly (in infancy). Also predeceased by her mother Celina Poitras, sisters Liz Parenteau, Lucy Stonechild and Marie Hanson, brothers Joseph, Frederick, Jim and Rene. She is survived by her sisters Lillian Fisher and Margaret Jarrett and brother Roy Poitras. Also surviving her are her daughters Pearl (Joe) Horvath, Thelma Towle, Georgina (Dick) Kinney; Barbara (Peter) Bancroft; Sharlene (Grant) Karst; Laverne (Brent) Vollman; sons George (Audrey) and Marlowe (Irene). Grandchildren: Mike (Chrissy), Michelle, Ronnie, Harry, Michael, Michelle, Shane (Candace), Colby (Christine), Lindsay (Trevor); Sherry; Daneen, Ryan (Melanie), Brett; Jessus (Lindsay), Amanda (Craig), Kelsey (Kevin); Natasha (Jamie), Shala (Jafar), Trent (Jamie). She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes lived a long active life and was able to live on her own until 4 months ago. She enjoyed preparing family Sunday dinners while she was able and also loved to bake and try new recipes and share these with her family. The Catholic Church was a big part of her life and she practiced her religion daily through prayer and this was exemplified in how she lived. We were all blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Mom during her 99 years of life. She will be greatly missed and will be forever loved and in our hearts. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Holy Family R.C. Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina, SK with Fr. Carlos Jimenez as Celebrant. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations to World Vision for medical or water provision would be greatly appreciated
