Obituary of John Syrota

John Syrota On Wednesday, January 4, 2017, Mr. John Steve Syrota of Regina passed away peacefully, at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by his wife Myrtel in 2004; children, Delores in 2010, Shane and Louella in infancy; his parents, Harry and Mary Syrota and sister, Rose. John’s memory will be cherished by his partner Helen Schall; son Tony (Marie); son-in-law Albert (Lorie) Stuehler; 6 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers Henry (Carol), Albert (Jean), Russell, Stanley, Jacob (Catherine); sisters Anne, Sonia (Ken); brother in-law Mike Lalach and step daughters Katrina, Leesa, Marla and families; as well as numerous friends and family. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017 followed by a Memorial Reception held at 2:30 p.m. at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to Trailblazers Life Choices (a day program for physical and mentally challenged adults) at 1069 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB R2J 1C6.
