I have many fond memories of Shirley from my time in politics. She and Rudy were always there to lend a hand and to provide companionship. They always made me feel welcome in their home. Later, I had the opportunity to interact with Shirley in her capacity as a Returning Officer. She was forthright and a person of good humour; it was always a pleasure to be in her company. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
I worked with Rudy at Land Bank, and I also have fond memories of the after parties hosted by Shirley and Rudy. Great times.
